Save the Date for My Book Launch Party: July 16

It's now official, so please consider yourself invited and get the date on your calendar — I'm having a launch party two months from today for my forthcoming book, Crackerjack Bands and Hometown Boosters: The Story of a Minnesota Music Man (Nodin Press).

The party will be from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the historic Grand Event Center in downtown Northfield. We'll have live brass music, light hors d'oeuvres, cake, and a cash bar. I'll do a brief presentation about the book, and I'll sign copies.

My favorite independent bookstore, Northfield's Content Bookstore, is partnering with me to sell books at the event, and you'll be able to preorder the book through the Content website. I will send out more information about this once it's all set up.
